[View this email in your browser]( Michael’s Monday Motivation Everything is local. Any enacted policy, any realized opportunity, any consequential moment has its impact on the ground. My friend Mitch Kates in Pennsylvania will convey that point regularly in 2020. It's consistently true. That level of local pride was on 100  as Mayors from across the country gathered in D.C. for the US Conference of Mayors. We hosted four KAIROS through four days. Needless to say, there were Major Mayors Moves happening. As we can sometimes lose hope due to national and International news, we should keep the faith because as we just celebrated the 15th anniversary of President Obama’s Inauguration, never forget that he started as a State Senator, realize that our generation of local KAIROS leaders are thriving and just getting started. Protect Women On the anniversary of the Supreme Court overturning Roe v. Wade, we must now turn our focus on the 2024 presidential and congressional elections. These could significantly impact the future of abortion policy. Vice President Kamala Harris will travel to Wisconsin on Monday morning to host an event in support of abortion rights while President Biden brings together a task force on reproductive health care in Washington.
