[The Next Collegiate League (NCL)]( is made up of 6 HBCU schools, making Lacrosse more prominent and more accessible on campuses for communities of color, and nationally. This first season of the NCL features Olympic-style lacrosse, a fast-paced higher scoring version of this game. By 2028 we KNOW that players from this league will be ready for the 2028 Olympics in Los Angeles. The NCL launches with Bowie State University, Coppin State University, Delaware State University, Lincoln University, University of Maryland Eastern Shore, and Morgan State University. André Gudger, the Owner/CEO of Next Level Sports & Entertainment and the head of this new program states, “We are providing a platform for Olympic-style lacrosse for students from Historically Black Colleges and Universities that will have a global reach, and will give athletes an opportunity to rapidly expand the sport and compete at all levels."
