[View this email in your browser]( With joy in her heart and a powerful vision for our future, Vice President Harris used her moment on the debate stage to show what her presidency would look like. Vice President Harris focused on an opportunity economy where we all win – where everyone has a chance to succeed and achieve their American Dream regardless of where they came from, what they look like, how they worship, or who they love. From a proposed $6,000 child tax cut to help families to a proposed $50,000 deduction for Small Businesses. Our aspiring visions to enact the Democracy that we deserve will be achieved by her victory. Standing beside the Republican nominee, the differences between these two candidates could not have been more stark. On one side, we saw a grounded, thoughtful V.P. Harris with policies backed by truth and facts that will expand freedom and opportunity. On the other side, we saw a Republican candidate fixated on the past with regressive ideas backed by groundless lies about late stage Abortion and post birth, bigotry, disdain for Democracy, lack of humanity about the January 6th Insurrection nor responsibility on his COVID response and fear mongering. We cannot ignore the consistent racist nonsense about African American and Hispanic Jobs and sexist disrespect towards the Vice President. When Trump had a chance to say that he would veto a proposed national Abortion ban or to counter his racist rhetoric and policies, he choose to ignore the questions and effectively be silent. Our choice is clear. This November, we can choose freedom instead of fear; promise rather than the past. This is our critical moment – OUR KAIROS – and the stakes could not be higher. We are at a crossroads where the path that we choose will decide the fate of our Democracy and the future for communities of color. Let us use our chronos to create a KAIROS of Vice President Harris and make sure she is elected President of the United States.
