Michael’s Motivation Very rarely can you have a life changing moment that the world also sees.?

[View this email in your browser]( Michael’s Motivation Very rarely can you have a life changing moment that the world also sees. It's what we witnessed on Sunday following President Biden's decision and then Vice President Harris' announcement to run. From going along our Sunday plans to the nonstop phone calls and texts of what happens now, it's always surreal how quickly life and news can change in seconds. In the midst of critical moments, we deserve to be given space for a range of emotions. You can be disappointed when life forces very real reflections and also be excited about the unknown future. It allows us to stay present and stay focused. During these seasons of life, you should not be afraid of a call coming in or request that you're not planning on that day. I encourage you to instead ask yourself - Are you ready for your moment? [Join the Call]( Black Men Salute President Biden. Black Men Support Vice President Harris. Thank you, President Biden. Black Men are grateful for your exemplary and selfless service to our country for more than 50 years. Thank you for hearing our voices and endorsing Vice President Kamala Harris as the presidential nominee of the Democratic Party. We, as Black Men and leaders in our communities, who choose democracy over fascism, recognize our critical voices in the conversation about the future of our nation. We, as Black Men, won’t be silent in 2024. Vice President Harris continues to provide positive, transformational, and inspirational benefits to the lives of Black Men. When Black jobs are created by Black Men entrepreneurs because of increased federal contracts, Black Men win. When insulin is capped at $35 per month to manage the debilitating effects of diabetes, Black Men win. When student loans are forgiven after our graduation—and yes, Black Men do graduate!—Black Men win. When policies are focused on homeownership so all of us can provide for our families, Black Men win. Let us be clear, Black Men are a part of ensuring the Democrats win in November. We are focused on helping our brothers, from the barbershops to our Black-business shops, learn about Trump-Vance’s Project 2025 so that Black Men don’t lose. Too often, society says that Black Men don’t show up or we are not engaged. It couldn’t be further from the truth. From Vote To Live to KAIROS DEMOCRACY PROJECT to Democracy In Action, we are speaking the truth to our neighbors. Black Men are Ridin' with Harris. We don’t have to find a great hope elsewhere. We already have it in our Vice President. Let us be clear, Black folk are the base of our party. We, as Black Men, base our beliefs on supporting those who have consistently supported us—therefore we, as Black Men, are Ridin' with Harris. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables.
