[View this email in your browser]( Michaelâs Monday Motivation My Black Jobs:
Democracy & Faith We are all equal in the eyes of the Creator.  It's very clear that Trump and his aligned Supreme Court Justices believe that they are above the rest of us. They have taken the words of Kendrick Lamar to the absolute wrong extreme. As a Black Man, I listened to the words of Thursday night's debate. I'm more concerned about what Trump said than how Biden sounded. Especially, the blatantly racist dog whistle of "Black Jobs.â Well on Sunday, I took the next step in my spiritual journey and was honored to become ordained at Union Grove Missionary Baptist Church in The Bronx. I believe that one of my Black Jobs to spread the gospel and to amplify positive values of our people. That grounding is even more evident after today's Supreme Court ruling of aiming to give King like powers to a President. When you ask me, am I taking off days or need to pace myself, I hear you and receive your love. But, please know that I have taken on the assignments of at least two critical Black Jobs: Save Democracy and Save Souls. I don't plan on many Out of Office days moving forward. Congratulations Rev. Michael A. Blake on becoming Ordained! Please enjoy his "Word of Thanks is PRAISE" message at the 2:26 time: Watch The Video WASHINGTON (AP) â Donald Trump warned during his debate with Joe Biden and again at a Friday rally that migrants were taking âBlack jobsâ and âHispanic jobsâ from Americans, angering critics who called it a racist and insulting attempt to expand his appeal beyond his white conservative base. While President Joe Bidenâs halting debate performance on Thursday night [stirred widespread concerns among fellow Democrats about his readiness]( Trump also repeatedly made false claims and repeated conspiracy theories that heâs long promoted during his campaign. Trump suggested without evidence that Democrats want migrants to displace Americans as voters, and he described the state of the nation under Biden as worse than during the deadly 2017 neo-Nazi march in Charlottesville, Virginia. Trump has [often downplayed the racist overtones of the march]( once saying there were âfine people on both sides.â [Read Full Article]( Biden-Harris Campaign Pollster On the State of the Race and Trumpâs Bad Debate Night Today, Biden-Harris campaign pollster and President of Impact Research Molly Murphy joined MSNBCâs Inside with Jen Psaki to discuss what actual voters on the ground thought of the first presidential debate and how theyâve reacted since. As Murphy explains, it remains âa nailbiter of an electionâ and the debate did not alter the overall trajectory of the race.  Key Point: âA majority of people who watched the debate felt like [President Biden] talked about issues that they cared about. They felt like [President Biden] came across as someone who cares about middle and working-class Americans, and when compared to Trump he came across as more presidential, more likable, more truthful. All are really important contrasts that we have been setting up throughout this campaign. But the other part that is important here is Donald Trump did not have a good debate night either. Voters didnât like what they saw from him.â [Watch Biden-Harris Campaign Pollster Molly Murphy on MSNBCâs Inside with Jen Psaki]( KAIROS Conversation with Whitney Battle-Baptiste Whitney Battle-Baptiste Director, W.
