[View this email in your browser]( Michael’s Monday Motivation 8 Billion. The global population. It's impossible to appreciate the magnitude of that number. So rather than focus on that totality, let your mind stay connected to one! One earth. One person. One legacy. On this earth day, let each one of us reflect that too many of us are still struggling to breathe, not close to clean water or unable to be around fresh lands. Today, you should take a walk outside or meditate on a grassy ground or swim in a beautiful body of water. I'm excited and inspired because each one of us can learn from one another. Let us embrace that one person can change the world as long as we protect our Earth. One Earth. One Person. One Legacy. We are excited to be joined by 8 other Governors so far -- Governors Walz (MN), Kelly (KS), Cooper (NC), Shapiro (PA), Beshear (KY) Mills (ME), Murphy (NJ), and Evers (WI) in addition to Governor Moore of course. We expect to confirm a few more Governors in the next few weeks as well.  It's set to be a special weekend in Baltimore, and we hope you'll consider joining as a sponsor. Thank you again for your consideration, and more updates to follow! As a proud Garifuna Woman, Afro-Latina raised in the South Bronx, has inspired me to create the first identifiably Black Afro- Latino TV series in our nation - THE AMIGO FAMILY. Set in the Bronx, this series will bring light to our tenacity, authenticity, and power of community. I am excited to share that [THE AMIGO FAMILY]( has been invited by the Essence Festival to do a live - in-person theatre-style performance during the 2024 Essence Film Festival, to be held on July 5-6 in New Orleans. The festival's "Cultural Connections" spotlights storytellers and projects from the US and also focuses on countries like Africa, the Caribbean, Canada, South America, and the U.K. It intentionally brings opportunities for co-production, alternative financing, creative collaborations, and content partnerships for under-represented voices. This is a great opportunity to put THE AMIGO FAMILY in front of producers in the hope they pick up the series. However, we must make our way there and cover the costs. Can you help? We need to raise $25,000 by May 15, 2024. The funds will cover flights, accommodations for the main cast and crew as well as a stipend for local talent. Should we exceed the goal, proceeds will go towards supporting the next phase of the project. Whether it's $25, $50, $100, or more, we are grateful that you have chosen to make history with us. [Help Us Rasise $25,000 by May 15, 2024]( UP is a non-profit organization whose mission is to inspire, elevate and empower the next generation of diverse business and civic leaders and women.
