The May newsletter is about the intense quality of time of the Scorpio Full Moon with a Lunar Eclipse. It's about longing and the lust for life when Venus is in tension with Neptune and about courageous action and authentic authority when Jupiter and Pluto square toward the end of the month. --------------------------------------------------------------- THE CURRENT QUALITY OF TIME [Image: Pluto R](On May 1, Pluto begins its phase of retrograde, which lasts until October 11. It moves back into Capricorn in June and will not re-enter Aquarius until January 2024. Now is the time to work through the issues it has kicked off in recent weeks with its first brief visit to Aquarius. These include the severe upheavals in banking and finance and the many mass protests and strikes in some countries around the globe. Pluto in Aquarius calls for redefining the relationship between individual and collective and challenges authoritarian power structures. Be prepared for a few choppy days and try to ride the waves rather than brace against them. Some now feel that it's all or nothing now. Developments these days may bring surprises, some of them unexpectedly creative. With enterprising Gemini Venus square dreamy Pisces Neptune, the yearning for intensity and adventure is powerful. The lust for life could tempt some to embark on one. Be bold. A new love or project could now initiate a profound process of change. [Image: Cancer](On May 7, Venus enters Cancer, bringing greater sensitivity and deeper emotions. With the conjunction of the Sun and Uranus on May 9, a great deal of restlessness and impatience comes into play again. Some feel a bit thin-skinned now. On May 15, Mercury ends its retrograde phase, and Cancer Mars trines Neptune in Pisces. Things may now start to flow without any action on your part. Make sure you keep a firm grip on things in the following days because with Jupiter's entry into Taurus on May 16, things will become more concrete, and some things could develop into unforeseen magnitude with an unexpected momentum of their own. Refrain from risky gambles unless you are prepared to face the consequences of your actions. [Image: Leo](Two days after entering Taurus, Jupiter squares Pluto in Aquarius, followed by the New Moon in Taurus on May 19. Mars enters Leo on May 20. It then opposes Pluto (exact on the 21st) and squares Jupiter (on the 23rd) and the North Node of the Moon (on the 25th). Now it's all about personal power, asserting it, and creating facts. We could witness courageous and alert actions on the one hand and foolish deeds with unpleasant consequences on the other. Now it becomes clear what real heroes are and who is just having a big mouth. The Sun also forms an aspect to Pluto directly after entering Gemini on May 21: The harmonious trine in the air element can be viewed positively in these days marked by power struggles, for some things now succeed with a certain ease, and there is a willingness to communicate. The square of the Sun and Saturn on May 28 is somewhat ambiguous.
