Early Campaign Photo of Rep. Judy Chu at Monterey Park’s Veterans’ Memorial {NAME}, I want

[{NAME}, I wanted to take this moment to share with you my story. I hope you’ll read until the end. If you’re short on time, please consider chipping in $12 to ASPIRE before you go. Your support will make all the difference in pushing back Republican wins and help elect a stronger and more diverse Democratic Majority >>]( [Early Campaign Photo of Rep. Judy Chu at Monterey Park’s Veterans’ Memorial]( Early Campaign Photo of Rep. Judy Chu at Monterey Park’s Veterans’ Memorial {NAME}, I wanted to take some time today and introduce myself. I’m Representative Judy Chu -- Founder of ASPIRE. As the daughter of two Chinese immigrants, I never imagined running for office. Until I watched my city council pass an English Only ordinance. I was in disbelief. This was a blatant attack on the thousands of immigrants who called our town home. I was determined to overturn this divisive resolution. So I knocked on doors and worked with my neighbors to successfully overturn it. After fighting that ordinance, I knew we needed a voice on the city council. So I ran for city council and won. But, {NAME}, I want you to know: my story isn’t unique. [There are thousands of activists all across this country working from the grassroots level to make meaningful change. I founded ASPIRE to ensure we amplify those voices. With hate on the rise -- especially violence against Asian Americans -- it is vital we support those on the frontlines of this battle. But we can’t reach our final End of Quarter goal without your help. Will you chip in $12 to help with the fight? >>]( {NAME}, I grew up thinking people who looked like me didn’t get elected to office. Now, I’m serving my seventh term in Congress. I don’t want anyone to ever grow up thinking they can’t run for office. Because of their race, ethnicity, sexuality, gender, and/or religion. But that starts with outreach that supports diversity, from the ground up. [If you believe in our mission too, then please chip in $12 before midnight. Your gift will go directly to educating and registering voters, train staff and help elect a more diverse Democratic Majority. Your support will go a long way in helping us reach our final End of Quarter goal. Rush in $10 or $14 before midnight to help fight back. >>]( [Chip in $14 now >>]( [Chip in $25 now >>]( [Chip in $50 now >>]( [Chip in $100 now >>]( [Chip in another amount now >>]( Thank you, Rep. Judy Chu [Follow us on Twitter!]( [Like our page on Facebook!]( [Visit our website!]( Now more than ever, it is absolutely essential that we elect more diverse candidates to protect and expand our Democratic Majorities. ASPIRE is fighting to do just that: elect more Asian American and Pacific Islanders (AAPIs) to office. Republicans are stockpiling millions to push extremist candidates and take back control. We saw what happened last time Republicans were in power -- we cannot afford to let it happen again. We need all the help we can get to protect our Democratic Majorities, empower our communities and elect more diverse candidates. [DONATE]( [We can't tell you how much we appreciate your grassroots support!
