Hi {NAME} -- President Trump may have been the most infamous villain in 2020, but Mitch McConnell was and continues to be just as nefarious. McConnell only needs one seat to take back his old job as Senate Majority Leader in 2022 -- that's why Democrats must make keeping the Senate and expanding our majority the number one priority this cycle. McConnell's leadership is responsible for some of the most outrageous and vile political events in recent memory. As Majority Leader, he ushered through Trump's $1.5 trillion tax cut for the rich and rammed through the nomination of far-right extremist Amy Coney Barrett to the Supreme Court just weeks before the 2020 election. His guidance was also key to getting Trump acquitted in not one but two impeachment trials. Since he found himself in the minority after the election, he has helped block the creation of a bipartisan commission to investigate the Jan. 6 insurrection and obstructed President Biden's progressive agenda using every tool at his disposal. If we let McConnell flip ANY seat this cycle, we'll be giving free reign to him and his band of radical allies. If we're going to avoid that outcome, we need to start by making sure that we re-elect EVERY vulnerable Democratic senator in 2022. According to the non-partisan Cook Political Report, Democrats' toughest re-election races include: - Georgia Sen. Raphael Warnock - Arizona Sen. Mark Kelly - Nevada Sen. Catherine Cortez Masto - New Hampshire Sen. Maggie Hassan These senators come from some of the most diverse states in the country and are our first line of defense against the racial demagoguery of Mitch McConnell and the Senate GOP. That's why we're setting a big goal for the end of this quarter to protect these senators and defend the Senate. [We want to raise at least $4,000](/Dxq7v2Jtcj--z8W99OXEPQGX77Qf9EisXIq7eU8lbh0=?refcode=ASP_20210629_GEN_FDR_J) [in the next 24 hours to end this quarter strong](/Dxq7v2Jtcj--z8W99OXEPQGX77Qf9EisXIq7eU8lbh0=?refcode=ASP_20210629_GEN_FDR_J) [-- that's $1,000 for each senator. We'll be honest, {NAME}, the numbers this month have not looked great, and we need to hit this goal to get back on track. We know we can get there with your help. Can you rush a donation of just $10 or $20 tonight to help defend the Senate?](/Dxq7v2Jtcj--z8W99OXEPQGX77Qf9EisXIq7eU8lbh0=?refcode=ASP_20210629_GEN_FDR_J) If you've saved payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately: [DONATE $10](/Dxq7v2Jtcj--z8W99OXEPQGX77Qf9EisXIq7eU8lbh0=?refcode=ASP_20210629_GEN_FDR_J&express_lane=true&amount=10) [DONATE $25](/Dxq7v2Jtcj--z8W99OXEPQGX77Qf9EisXIq7eU8lbh0=?refcode=ASP_20210629_GEN_FDR_J&express_lane=true&amount=25) [DONATE $50](/Dxq7v2Jtcj--z8W99OXEPQGX77Qf9EisXIq7eU8lbh0=?refcode=ASP_20210629_GEN_FDR_J&express_lane=true&amount=50) [DONATE $100](/Dxq7v2Jtcj--z8W99OXEPQGX77Qf9EisXIq7eU8lbh0=?refcode=ASP_20210629_GEN_FDR_J&express_lane=true&amount=100) [DONATE $500](/Dxq7v2Jtcj--z8W99OXEPQGX77Qf9EisXIq7eU8lbh0=?refcode=ASP_20210629_GEN_FDR_J&express_lane=true&amount=500) [DONATE OTHER](/Dxq7v2Jtcj--z8W99OXEPQGX77Qf9EisXIq7eU8lbh0=?refcode=ASP_20210629_GEN_FDR_J) There are a lot of important campaigns in 2022, but none more so than these four Democratic senators. Without them, any hope of holding Congress for the rest of President Biden's administration will be lost. Thank you for always supporting our work.
