The largest effort to suppress voting rights since Jim Crow

They are all-important swing states led by radical Republican governors who are dismantling the foundations of our democracy with stifling new voter suppression laws. And it's not just those states. At least 389 bills in 48 states have been introduced that would limit citizens' voting rights. It's also true that these bills that demand strict ID requirements to vote, limit polling places and hours, and even outlaw providing water to voters in line all disproportionately affect voters of color. This is a coordinated effort by extremists in the Republican Party who want to change the electorate to make it whiter and more conservative so they can win elections without support from the majority of Americans. {NAME}, we can't allow this to be the new normal.
