{NAME}, Texas picked up two Congressional seats last week, and the state legislature didn't waste a second before writing a slew of brand new voter intimidation bills meant to keep voters of color out of the voting booth. In Florida -- another state that gained a Congressional seat this year -- the Republican state legislature passed a similar voter suppression bill that encourages increased surveillance and signature matching, actions that intimidate and prevent voters of color from casting a ballot. The only way to stop these bills is to elect progressive candidates -- especially Asian American and Pacific Islander leaders -- to every office in the United States. When AAPI voices have a seat at the table, voter intimidation won't stand a chance. But, Republicans have control in the Texas and Florida state legislatures. The more voters of color they intimidate out of voting, the tougher it'll be to mobilize voters around progressive candidates in the future. We have to act NOW, before it's too late. ASPIRE is committed to replacing voter suppression-loving Republicans with qualified and compassionate Asian American and Pacific Islander candidates, but we won't win without you. [We're $1,239 short of our daily fundraising goal, and we need your support. Can you chip in a few dollars right now to elect progressive AAPI leaders to stop GOP voter intimidation once and for all?](/I1mGIvwMmhUw2RwNhgFN-EQ1Humm38RplS0vQo2AOmk=?refcode=ASP_20210507_GEN_FDR_G) If you've saved payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately: [DONATE $10](/I1mGIvwMmhUw2RwNhgFN-EQ1Humm38RplS0vQo2AOmk=?refcode=ASP_20210507_GEN_FDR_G&express_lane=true&amount=10) [DONATE $25](/I1mGIvwMmhUw2RwNhgFN-EQ1Humm38RplS0vQo2AOmk=?refcode=ASP_20210507_GEN_FDR_G&express_lane=true&amount=25) [DONATE $50](/I1mGIvwMmhUw2RwNhgFN-EQ1Humm38RplS0vQo2AOmk=?refcode=ASP_20210507_GEN_FDR_G&express_lane=true&amount=50) [DONATE $100](/I1mGIvwMmhUw2RwNhgFN-EQ1Humm38RplS0vQo2AOmk=?refcode=ASP_20210507_GEN_FDR_G&express_lane=true&amount=100) [DONATE $500](/I1mGIvwMmhUw2RwNhgFN-EQ1Humm38RplS0vQo2AOmk=?refcode=ASP_20210507_GEN_FDR_G&express_lane=true&amount=500) [DONATE OTHER](/I1mGIvwMmhUw2RwNhgFN-EQ1Humm38RplS0vQo2AOmk=?refcode=ASP_20210507_GEN_FDR_G) Thank you for understanding the power of this moment, ASPIRE [DONATE](/I1mGIvwMmhUw2RwNhgFN-EQ1Humm38RplS0vQo2AOmk=?refcode=ASP_20210507_GEN_FDR_G) Paid for and authorized by ASPIRE PAC.
