GOP furious about fake Kamala Harris story

Fox News' Tucker Carlson has used large segments of his show to insinuate that Harris, not Biden, is the person who's really in charge of the White House -- a claim that's now widely repeated among Republicans. Recently, the New York Post published an entirely false article that claimed VP Harris' book was being distributed at migrant detention centers. It was redacted, but not before Republican senators and conservative media pundits could tell millions of Americans that Harris was “using their taxpayer dollars” for self-profit. As the New York Times reports, the attacks against Harris are proof of “the speed at which political misinformation can be weaponized in the modern media environment.” We know how quickly the GOP has been able to sway public opinion and demonize Democrats with misinformation, {NAME}.
