Trump attacks Obama before the convention

{NAME} -- Donald Trump has joined his advisor Stephen Miller in attacking President Barack Obama -- painting Obama’s advocacy for voting rights as angry rantings. First Miller criticized Obama on Fox and Friends, calling the president’s eulogy for John Lewis “totally disconnected from reality” and “scandalously, outrageously false.” Then Trump weighed in a few days later, saying Obama gave a “terrible speech” that “showed his anger” and proved that the 44th president has “lost control.” It’s no wonder why Obama would be fed up with Trump and the GOP: they’ve blatantly embraced racist voter suppression laws as a way to steal the 2020 election. But Trump is refusing to admit that Obama is right and that expanded voting rights are the best way to fix systemic inequality.
