After an unprecedented number of submissions were reviewed by the jury and the global public, the latest collection of winners forms a vibrant celebration of outstanding design from throughout the past decade. Expressional use of light, color and materiality were brilliantly displayed, and I was particularly impressed with projects that managed to successfully balance the critical regiments of various programs seamlessly against existing surrounding context and communities.” In its 10th season, the A+Awards received over 5,000 entries from 100+ countries, including a plethora of innovative projects seeking to address the complex challenges facing the world today — from climate change and the COVID 19 pandemic to urbanization and economic inequity. Notable Jurors included Julie Eizenberg FAIA, FRAIA (Founding Principal, Koning Eizenberg Architecture), Jasmit Singh Rangr (President and Founder, Rangr Studio), Germane Barnes (Principal, Studio Barnes), Suchi Reddy (Principal, Reddymade), Yoko Choy (China editor, Wallpaper* magazine), and many more. A Jury-selected Winner and a Popular Choice Winner were awarded in each of the 117 categories, with over 400,000 votes cast by the voting public.
