Hello, I'd like to share another update for our book. Along with the beta release of Xcode 12

Hello, I'd like to share another update for our [Mastering SwiftUI](=) book. Along with the beta release of Xcode 12 and iOS 14, Apple has also updated the SwiftUI framework with a lot of new features. You can now easily create grid layout and create animated transition. While Xcode 12 is still in beta, we have already added 4 new chapters for the book. You will learn how to create expandable list views, build grid layout using LazyVGrid, exporting a custom view to View library, and creating an animated activity ring. Further, we will dive deeper into animation. You will learn how to use the Animatable & AnimatableModifier to animate shape and views. Take a look at the below video to get a better idea about the grid layout you are going to build: [ Â](=) And, here is a demo for the animated activity ring: [ Â](=) This is just the first update of Mastering SwiftUI for iOS 14. We are going to add more new content to walk you through other new APIs. Once you purchase the book, you will receive the updates later this year. As our email subscribers, we created a special discount code for you. From now till Aug 2 (23:59 PST), you can use the discount code "swiftui2" at checkout to receive an extra discount. If you want to learn SwiftUI, [check out the Mastering SwiftUI book here](=). Hope you love the update! Regards, Simon [Unsubscribe]( | [Update your profile]( | Unit 1104, 11/F Crawford House, 70 Queen's Road Central, Hong Kong, n/a n/a

Flesch reading score measures how complex a text is. The lower the score, the more difficult the text is to read. The Flesch readability score uses the average length of your sentences (measured by the number of words) and the average number of syllables per word in an equation to calculate the reading ease. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables. Usually, a reading ease score of 60-70 is considered acceptable/normal for web copy.
