Hello, We're running a flash sale for 24 hours. You can now use [this link](=) to purchase our SwiftUI professional package at $99 only. A couple of questions about the [Mastering SwiftUI](=) book we got recently: - Does the personal finance app support Core Data? - Can you tell me more about the app such as what technologies I can learn by building the app? Probably you got a similar question. Let me give you more information about the app. First, the personal finance app is entirely built using the SwiftUI framework and is now fully updated for Core Data. All payment activities are now stored in the local database and managed using Core Data. Apple has introduced a new property wrapper called @FetchRequest that makes it very easy for developers to retrieve data from local database or other persistent stores. Along with the Combine framework, you can keep track of the record update and refresh the UI automatically. You will learn how this can be done by developing the app. And, we have also added a full chapter about Core Data and SwiftUI to walk you through the implementation details. Other than Core Data, you will learn how to build a form UI and perform form validation using Combine. Also, you will learn to apply the MVVM (Model-View-ViewModel) pattern in SwiftUI. It's very common for an app to provide various options to filter the table records. The personal finance app also has this feature. So, you will learn how to use high order functions in Swift like filter and reduce to handle the filtering. The bottom sheet is another UI pattern that can be found in some of the popular apps. You will learn how to build a generic bottom sheet, so you fill the sheet with your preferred content. As you can see in the figure below, the app brings up the sheet with a smooth animation. You will also learn how animation is implemented in SwiftUI. Furthermore, you will understand how to handle keyboard notifications so that the form fields will no longer blocked by the software keyboard. Instead, the form automatically moves up when the keyboard is detected. The Mastering SwiftUI book has a full chapter explaining to you how this app was built. And, it has separate chapters to explain each of the techniques in details. You can [check out the sample book]( that will give you a better idea. Hope this email helps you understand the personal finance app and how it can help you learn SwiftUI. If you have any further questions, please write back to me. I love to answer. Regards, Simon P.S. If you want to learn SwiftUI, don't miss our flash sale (ends on May 1 23:59 PST). Flesch reading score

Flesch reading score measures how complex a text is. The lower the score, the more difficult the text is to read. The Flesch readability score uses the average length of your sentences (measured by the number of words) and the average number of syllables per word in an equation to calculate the reading ease. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables. Usually, a reading ease score of 60-70 is considered acceptable/normal for web copy.
