In the currency economic climate, it's crucial to remain skeptical of any bullish momentum in the U.S. market. Fear Increase about U.S. Recession As President Trump urges the Fed to continue to cut interest rates, any USD pair will likely experience a lot of volatility as the dollar is expected to continue weakening. Trump continues to pile on the pressure on the Federal Reserve, consistently placing the blame on them for fears of a coming recession. And as trade wars continue between China and the U.S., the scales are tipping in that favor. Looking at the long term, the next FOMC meeting in September could see interest rates get cut even more, a continuation of the events that transpired in July’s conference, where a 25-point rate cute took place. This economic uncertainty and continuous rate cuts spell out positive outlooks for borrowers, but continued slippage could also spell trouble for the U.S. economy.
