With 110,000 miles of creeks, rivers, and streams flowing into the Chesapeake, we all have a stake in ensuring clean water. We must also focus on environmental justice and repairing the harm done by environmental hazards such as air pollution, lead exposure, and improper waste disposal. These hazards impact tens of thousands of Marylanders, disproportionately impacting minority communities. Climate change is one of our gravest national security threats. We must invest in renewable energy, cut greenhouse emissions, and build 21st-century infrastructure, prioritizing green public transportation. [{NAME}, this is where I stand.
