It’s high time we legalized cannabis. [Angie Craig for Congress]( It’s high time we legalized cannabis, {NAME}. All jokes aside, I’m serious about passing legislation in Congress to legalize cannabis — which would create jobs, grow the economy and address longstanding inequities in our criminal justice system. [On 4/20, will you chip in $4.20 — or more — to my campaign? Your support will help me stay in Congress to fight for federal legislation to legalize cannabis and more.]( [CHIP IN $4.20]( Right now, recreational marijuana is legal in 21 states and the District of Columbia. My state of Minnesota could soon join them as the state legislature prepares to vote on a bill to legalize adult use of recreational marijuana. Next, we need to legalize cannabis for medical and adult recreational use on the federal level. For far too long, our country has missed out on the economic benefits of legalization. We’ve also wasted billions of dollars enforcing outdated drug laws that target Black and brown communities and don’t make communities any safer. In Congress, I’ve worked on efforts to remove cannabis from the Controlled Substances Act, help cannabis-related small businesses get funding from the U.S. Small Business Administration and expunge records of many nonviolent cannabis-related offenses. We also saw historic action from President Biden when he pardoned convictions for simple marijuana possession offenses on the federal level. But we still have our work cut out for us. The majority of Americans support legalization, so if you’re one of them, I have a request for you today: [Please, donate $4.20 on 4/20 to support my work to legalize cannabis and grow our economy.]( [CHIP IN $4.20]( Thank you, Angie Angie Craig for Congress PO Box 22116 Eagan, MN 55122 United States [angiecraig.com]( | campaign@angiecraig.com | [Privacy Policy]( Paid for by Angie Craig for Congress This email was sent to {EMAIL}.
