Santos defrauded his constituents in NY-03, his donors, and the American people by lying about or embellishing his work history, his real estate portfolio, his role in an animal charity and being Jewish — claiming that his grandparents “survived the Holocaust.” He’s even admitted that many of the claims that helped his fundraising and got him elected were false or exaggerated. Yet he refuses to resign — despite being under federal investigation and calls from a Republican Party chair in his district to step down. [The American people deserve better.
