Google Assistant is coming soon to iOS, Motorola's sub-$100 Moto C is now live, and Sprint mulls a possible merger with T-Mobile [Android Central]( [Google is rumored to be bringing Assistant to iOS sometime soon]( [Google Assistant may be heading to iOS shortly]( Google is still working to get its AI Assistant on every Android device you own, but if rumors are true, it will also be an iOS launch soon as a standalone app in the next few days. While both phones share design similarities with the Moto Gs announced earlier in the year, they expense with the metal pleasantries in order to keep the corners down. Instead, they focus on software experience and battery life. --------------------------------------------------------------- [Sprint and SoftBank start informal talks over T-Mobile merger]( Executives from SoftBank — Sprint's largest shareholder — have started "preliminary conversations" about an eventual merger with Deutsche Telekom, which owns 65% of T-Mobile, according to Bloomberg. Sprint tried acquiring T-Mobile back in 2014, but the deal fell through over regulatory hurdles. --------------------------------------------------------------- [Intel and Samsung back FTC's lawsuit against Qualcomm]( Earlier this year, the Federal Trade Commission leveled a lawsuit against Qualcomm for resorting to anti-competitive tactics to maintain its position in the semiconductor segment.
