It is already affecting all of our daily lives – and things are just going to keep getting worse unless we take historic, decisive action. [I hope you’ll let me explain, but if you believe we need to send a climate warrior to Congress, please make a contribution to my campaign today →]( On Thursday, the United Nations is kicking off the 28th Climate Change Conference. It is one of our last chances for the world to come together to tackle the threat of climate change. Unfortunately, the chances of real progress here were undermined early on when an oil company CEO was appointed to lead the negotiations. And now evidence is emerging that Russia and the fossil fuel industry are using the conference as leverage to sell more oil and gas. To me, this is personal. I began my career working in the White House for then-Vice President Al Gore to sound the alarm on the climate crisis. I spent nearly a decade as the CEO of an environmentally-focused alternative to the Big Banks that put climate change fighting power into people's hands. We helped millions of Americans move billions of dollars of their savings deposits and personal investments out of the reach of Big Oil companies and into accounts that were fossil fuel-free. And we funded the planting of over one hundred million trees around the world to suck carbon dioxide out of the atmosphere. For us here in Arizona, this isn’t some abstract or global issue. We’re facing the climate crisis right here and right now. Wildfires, drought, and deadly heat waves have become all too common. There is no place in America where the climate crisis is a more clear and present danger than here in Arizona. But Arizona should also be the “Solar State.” We can be to clean energy what Detroit is to cars and Silicon Valley is to computers. With the right leadership and vision in Congress, meeting the climate crisis can be an enormous source of economic opportunity for Arizona and America. But I need your help to get there. [That’s why I’m asking: Will you chip in to my people-powered campaign? Whether it’s $5, $25, $50, or $500, your support is crucial to help me get to Congress and work to address the climate crisis.]( If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately: [$5 →]( [$25 →]( [$50 →]( [$500 →]( [OTHER AMOUNT →]( In your service, – Andrei To learn more about Andrei, visit [AndreiForArizona.com]( Paid for by Andrei for Arizona Andrei for Arizona PO Box 26058 Phoenix, AZ 85068 United States Emails are a really important way for our campaign to be in touch with our supporters.
