[GET 1 YEAR of new issues for just $29.99]( "The presentation is better than anything I could've wished for."- Freddie Levi SAD NEWS We are sad to announce that author and researcher Malcolm Hutton has recently passed away. Member Coordinator Micki Pistorius has this to say about Malcolm: Malcolm Hutton was affiliated with Ancient Origins for the past four years, as an author and member. If one should read Malcolm Hutton’s bio on Ancient Origins, he wrote this about himself: “I am a retired Travel Agent who has studied many languages, history and sciences. I wrote my novel [The Tutankhamen Code]( to use fiction as a way to attract readers to the true facts of Egyptian and Biblical History. It has been very well received by those who have read it. Much of the past has been hidden from the World and quite deliberately altered by those who would lose were the real facts known to all. It is my aim to sweep away such distractions and let everyone enjoy the knowledge of what once was.” But he was so much more. I only met Malcolm in March 2020 when he commented on one of author Jim Willis’ articles and so began our correspondence. We wrote almost daily and Malcolm introduced me to his fascinating world of deciphering hieroglyphs and revealing “Israeli Kings” as Egyptian pharaohs, and opening up a whole new perspective on ancient religion, gods and kings and challenging and changing my mental landscape of biblical history. He sent me so much material and I invited him to write articles for the Premium site. Not only did he write them, but he also meticulously drew the hieroglyphs for me. I found him witty, wise, and full of humor, and I am sure in real life he must have had a twinkle in his eye. He even sent me a funny photograph of himself and he looked as I imagined he would. On Monday June 1, Malcolm sent me his last drawing of the hieroglyphs on ‘Twtmose’s chair’ and expressed his concern that he had to go to hospital the following day for an operation. I wished him good luck and asked him to let me know how it went. I did not hear from him for two weeks, but published his articles and thought he was just convalescing. By the third week I was concerned and left many emails. Then on June 29, we received an email from his friend, author Gerry Cannon, who informed us that Malcolm had passed away a few weeks before, due to a bad fall and brain haemorrhage. I was so shocked and sad and realised the drawing must have been one of the last tasks he had completed. I feel I have lost a friend, and I know Ancient Origins has lost an author with a wealth of knowledge and research – we still planned a webinar on how to read hieroglyphs – and I would like to express my sincere condolences to Malcolm’s family and friends and to those who enjoyed his articles as much as I did. Ancient Wisdom in Modern News [Humans and Neanderthals Have More in Common than Polar and Brown Bears]( [clip_image001](Ancient humans and Neanderthals, and Denisovans, were genetically closer than polar bears and brown bears, and so, like the bears, were able to easily produce healthy, fertile hybrids according to a study.|[MORE]( Buried Children With Coins In Their Mouths Found In Poland [clip_image002](This apparently bizarre discovery confirmed a long-standing local belief that a lost children's graveyard was located somewhere in the Church Mountains area.
