Entrepreneurship does NOT need to equal stress Stress. For many entrepreneurs, this is an all too familiar acquaintance. In fact, according to The American Institute of Stress: - About 33 percent of people report feeling extreme stress - 77 percent of people experience stress that affects their physical health - 73 percent of people have stress that impacts their mental health And while it’s all too easy to make the level of stress you’re experiencing a running joke, the truth is that stress is actually holding us back from achieving great things personally and professionally. Since April is National Stress Awareness Month, I wanted to round-up some of my best episodes that address the topic of stress and mental health, and give tangible steps for bringing more ease and peace into your day to day. Add these Online Marketing Made Easy episodes to your queue and let your stress begin to melt away: [448: Steal These Mantras To Keep You Going Personally & Professionally]( In this episode, I share the four mantras that guide my life. They’re the “unofficial rules” that help get me through the stress, worry, and overwhelm that comes along with being an online entrepreneur, and… let’s face it, being human. [445: How to Do The Work' and Release Negative Thinking with Dr. Nicole LaPera]( I interviewed Dr. Nicole LaPera, “The Holistic Psychologist,” who shares her unique perspective on how to recognize toxic thought patterns before they manifest, heal from personal trauma, and different ways that you can take your mental health into your own hands. [441: Normalizing Mental Health For Entrepreneurs With Gabby Bernstein]( While mental health is a big topic these days (for good reason!), we don’t often hear about how entrepreneurs, specifically, can cultivate better mental and emotional health. In this episode, I sit down with Gabby Bernstein, who shares ways entrepreneurs can work through their anxiety, shift their mindset for the better, and identify and change negative thought patterns. [230: Dealing With Depression as an Entrepreneur: Amy and Jasmine Star Open Up](=) For this episode, I brought on my dear friend, Jasmine Star, as we both have a history of experiencing depression. I hope that as you listen you will start to feel less alone and walk away with some tools and resources to help you move forward as you deal with depression and grow your business. [398: The Uphill Battle Of Being Your Own Boss & How To Keep Moving Forward](=) In this episode, I’m drawing back the curtain to share 3 personal major life changes, the thought patterns, and habits that kept me moving forward, and what I’ve discovered about true entrepreneurship and leadership on the other side. [If you’re a Spotify listener, head here for a pre-made playlist with all of these episodes.]() I want you to know that I see you and you’re not alone in experiencing your emotions and coping with stress.
