Every overnight success has a decade or two of sweat equity behind it. ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ?

Every overnight success has a decade or two of sweat equity behind it. ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ Hi there, Progress is not linear. Below is my latest speaking reel and it's a reminder of how powerful and important the real process is compared to the highlight reel. For example, here are the types of things you don't see along the journey: - Nerves the size of pterodactyls before my first big keynote. They evolved to healthy, sometime still large, butterflies. - Navigating moment-to-moment mind games that make me question myself. - My high heel getting stuck in a riser on stage mid-keynote. (For an entire minute.) - Hours of messy rehearsals in my basement and cringing watching the playback. - Kittens appearing on my first slide in front a thousand people. (After the tech check, the AV team accidentally added a blank slide. The template placeholder image? Kittens. Super cute.) - Moments realizing how every painful and exciting minute of effort has paid off. They call it sweat equity for a reason. It's sweaty, it's earned -- appreciates over time. Whatever difficult black diamond mountain you're navigating, keep going. And if you have an event of any size coming up and want to collaborate, let me know. [Amy Jo Martin | Keynote Speaker - Speaking Reel 2024]( For more info on my public speaking front, head [here](. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables. Usually, a reading ease score of 60-70 is considered acceptable/normal for web copy.
