These are the tactics that are changing my life. ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ Hi {NAME}, How we spend our days is how we spend our lives. We get to play with time and reshape our days. Scientifically, perceived control and perceived progress are two proven ingredients of happiness. Here are tactical ways you can feel more control and progress with how you spend your time. - Differentiate your "To-Do" list from your "To-Do Today" list. If your To-Do Today list can't fit on a 3x3 sticky note, that's a yellow flag. - Look at your week ahead, if you were forced to remove 50% of the commitments on your calendar, where would you start? Take the 10-20% that you identified the quickest and start there with what to strike or pause. You just created a 10-20% margin. - Change your "To-Do List" to your "Get To-Do List" (literally write this at the top of the list). Gratitude is a physiological and psychological strategy. Do you dread the items on your list? Yellow (red-ish) flag. Time to get curious. - Shift at least one zoom meeting to a walking meeting phone call and get outside. Make note of how you feel during and after. - Turn all phone and computer notifications off for at least one day. Go on offense and decide when you will check for inbound communications. I promise you, the sky will not fall and if there's a fire, someone will call. - Grab a baseline of your phone screen time in your settings, make it a goal to decrease your time spent on social media by 20% over the course of one week. Try these daily for a week. After all, consistency compounds over time. I just wrapped the three-part solo podcast series of Reinventing Your Relationship with Time where I share a lot more of these tips. You can find them on [Apple Podcasts,]( [Spotify,]( YouTube: ([part 1]( [part 2]( and [part 3]( [Amy Jo Martin - Part 3 How To Reinvent Your Day & Relationship With Time (Ep 315)]( Time as a concept is infinite and yet our time is not. When we experiment and play with our hours in a day we can experience radical shifts, quickly. Cheers to playing with time, Ajo As you can see, I have a healthy obsession with time. Flesch reading score measures how complex a text is. The lower the score, the more difficult the text is to read. The Flesch readability score uses the average length of your sentences (measured by the number of words) and the average number of syllables per word in an equation to calculate the reading ease. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables. Usually, a reading ease score of 60-70 is considered acceptable/normal for web copy.
