I'm on my last flight home for the month and it's been a fascinating tour. ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ Hi there, I’m on my final flight home for the month and reflecting on how each city I went to had a completely different audience, yet the takeaways are similar after speaking to a few thousand talented people: We’re in the ultimate season of work-life integration vs. separation. The expectations and juggling act are no joke and at a whole new level. I’ve been experimenting with ways to overlap various aspects of my life and “double-dip” the things I love in order to expand time while staying present in the moment ([kinda like in this video]( After 25 years, I’ve accepted that balance is a mirage — total BS. Yet being centered around the priorities you love is a legit and accessible concept. Have ideas on how to get more milage out of each moment while shaking hands with the clock and avoiding overdrive? I’d like to hear. We vote with our time for the life we want to live. AI. Let’s level set here. Nearly everyone, at every level, feels behind and unclear about how to effectively integrate AI in their work and lives. This reminds me of the dot com era onset and the early days in social media. For the first few years, people felt behind even though they weren’t at the time. Many avoided diving in because they thought they were too late. Eventually, they did miss a window of opportunity that could have accelerated and differentiated their brand and business. We can all get ‘ahead’ now by getting curious and focusing on finding the right questions versus finding the right answers. Many of the answers literally do not exist yet. So let's experiment with information and tools that do exist. Even Mark Andreesen has said this process of better understanding the impact and seeing a mainstream rollout, as well as mass adoption, will take at least 1-3 years. This is going to be a rapidly-changing long haul and we can be obsessed with the opportunity or obsessed with the challenge. Some healthy thought-candy for you: - Sandra Campos, 3x CEO of some of the world’s biggest retail brands and a board member, [bravely shares the moment]( she found herself going through a divorce and how she radically shifted her high-octane career to create the lifestyle change she desired as a mom while also honoring her passion and ambition. This woman is a legend. - Unmatched Career Opportunity - Cercle, a women’s healthcare, data and AI company that I sit on the board of, is hiring a Head of Customer Success. Whoever lands [this position]( will be in a great seat. - When was the last time someone made you feel uncomfortable, in a good way, because they stretched you? If you can’t think of a time, that’s a red flag. [Here are Renegades]( who will stretch you. They eat healthy tension for breakfast and I promise they’ll add value to your orbit. Our next [Renegade Accelerator]( opens for enrollment soon. If you want first access, [apply here]( and we’ll be in touch. My next stops … Washington DC, San Diego, Nashua (NH) and Vancouver. Hope to see you out there. Cheers to double-dipping. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables.
