My advice to you as you plan your menu is to pick at least one menu item to grill. A few things to keep in mind as you prepare: 1. Check to make sure that your [grilling supplies]( are stocked before the day (no one wants to run out of charcoal halfway through smoking a turkey). 2. Clean your grill well to avoid food sticking and be careful to avoid cross contamination. I always like to grill with two sets of tongs. One I mark with tape as ones that can touch raw meat and the other for safe / ready to eat food. 3. If youâre smoking your turkey, be sure to use a meat thermometer.
