Every week we highlight the kitchen equipment that has won our rigorous testings and thus a place in our kitchens. But who exactly is responsible for those product reviews? You might already be familiar with our gadget expert, Lisa McManus, and her cohost on [Gear Heads]( Hannah Crowley. Or maybe youâve seen Jack Bishop and Adam Ried bring our reviews to life on [Americaâs Test Kitchen]( and [Cookâs Country]( television shows. In addition to that rock-solid crew, [six other full-time editors]( spend their days testing everything from [soy sauce]( and [canned chickpeas]( to [sous vide machines]( and [stand mixers](.
This week weâre excited to announce that we have a new member on our team, Chase Brightwell. We knew we had to hire Chase when we found out that he loves dogs, coffee, and fried chickenâIâm kidding! Those things are all true, but what really matters is that Chase shares our belief that the right kitchen equipment and ingredients can make your life better.
