Halloween is almost here, and you know what that meansâitâs time to plan your costume party. For a Halloween cake that ups the spook factor, our [Chocolate Shadow Cake] recipe canât be beat. This rich chocolate butter cake is layered with fluffy seven-minute icing and topped with a drippy chocolate glaze. A touch of light corn syrup allows the chocolate glaze to cling tightly to the cake and have a glossy texture.
