I learned to make fresh pasta with my grandmother Katherine Pizzarello and still have incredible memories of rolling and cutting fettuccine noodles in her kitchen as a kid. Fast-forward 50 years: I like to relax on the weekend by making pasta by hand. There’s no nicer way to say “I love you” with food. Make my all-time favorite ATK pasta recipe, [Pork, Fennel, and Lemon Ragu with Pappardelle](. The wide sheets of fresh pasta perfectly nestle chunks of this surprisingly light yet incredibly satisfying sauce. I like to serve these golden, crisp circles as a side with braised short ribs or Tuscan-style grilled steak with garlic and rosemary.
