Deemed Florida’s deadliest hurricane on record since 1935 — and one of the strongest hurricanes to ever hit the United States — its impact on vulnerable coastal communities was catastrophic. In the months since the hurricane hit, Americares has delivered over $880,000 in aid to 15 partner organizations supporting survivors.
