Growing up, I learned independence by refusing to be an outsider in my own community. I learned integrity by watching my parents succeed in America. I learned compassion by feeling how much ignorance hurts and seeing how understanding heals. [JOIN MY TEAM]( I never thought of a life in politics. It was a world I knew nothing about and didnât care about. From what I could see, politicians were people on TV who claimed to be working for us but too often seemed to be busy promoting themselves. In school, being in student government or even taking a political science class was never for me. Instead, I thought I would have a future in business. I always loved numbers, and in the world of business, numbers tell stories that are fascinating to me. Thatâs how I got my start. When I was 13, I started doing the books at my momâs store. When I returned to our family business, after earning an accounting degree, I learned how hard it was to make a dollar and how easy it was for the government to take it away. My mom told me not to complain but do something about it. So, I did. Thatâs when I ran for state legislature. I didnât know that you werenât supposed to run against a 30-year incumbent. But being the underdog didnât matter to me. I wanted to fight to make a difference. So, I reached out to every person I could. I told them why I wanted to work for them. I won. I immediately got to work. I fought for government transparency, stood up to reckless spending, and worked for the people of my district. Then I ran for governor. I was the underdog once again, but I fought and won. I challenged the status quo in the state house and as governor and fought for legislation that would make a difference, from transparency in government and voter ID laws, to strengthening the economy and championing education. Iâve worn many hats throughout my life. Iâm an accountant, a mom, a proud wife of a combat veteran, the daughter of immigrants who came here legally, and a strong conservative. Iâve served as governor and UN Ambassador. Most importantly, Iâm a proud American who knows our best days are yet to come if we unite to save our country. [Will you join me in this fight?]( [JOIN MY TEAM]( Iâm running for president because I know Americans deserve better. Itâs time for a new generation of leadership to come in, step up, and reverse the damage that the Left has created. Winning is only possible with a strong team of grassroots supporters by my side. If you have even $5 to spare, it will make an important difference. [Will you chip in just $5 or more today to help me win this fight for our nationâs future?]( My very best,
