[ ☆American Girl]( No images? [View online]( At American Girl, there is no higher priority than the health and well-being of our employees and our customers. As we continue to closely monitor COVID-19, we have taken the following measures to expand our already stringent health and hygiene standards: - Disinfecting all high-touch areas more frequently, including - play areas and product displays, - registers and countertops, - touch-screen devices, - shelves, handrails, and other high-traffic items and spaces. - Expanding our daily housekeeping services and staffing throughout the store, including increased sanitation of our restaurants, salons, and restrooms. - In an effort to follow CDC guidelines and reduce prolonged contact between large groups of people, we are cancelling all paid and non-paid store events (pre-paid events will be refunded), and we are evaluating the status of our other store experiences on a daily basis. If you have a reservation for an event or experience, an American Girl team member will contact you directly. If you have questions about a store in your area, please call customer service at 877-247-5223 or go to for more details. - Our restaurants are continuing to adhere to best practices for food handling based on state and local health department regulations. Extra measures are being taken to increase the frequency of disinfecting every surface within and near our restaurants, including menus, tabletops, chairs and booths, and dolls will no longer be available to borrow for the tables. Celebrations can be re-booked or held as planned based on each family’s discretion. - We are communicating regularly with our employees to ensure they have the information they need to stay healthy, including providing them with clear instructions that they stay at home if they are feeling unwell. While our stores remain open for business, our teams are continuously monitoring the COVID-19 activity and following the latest guidance from the World Health Organization (WHO), Center for Disease Control (CDC) and other local and national health organizations. We appreciate everyone’s understanding and support as we continue to navigate this challenging and rapidly changing situation. You have our commitment that we will make every effort to do what is right for our customers, our employees, and the communities we serve. Thank you for being a loyal American Girl fan.
