It’s been a busy day at the campaign HQ, but I thought it was important to take a few minutes to tell you about our recent fundraising numbers. Thanks to grassroots supporters like you, our team came together and raised more than $11 MILLION to fuel the third quarter of Nikki’s campaign. This fundraising number is beyond impressive and shows the strength of our movement – BUT what’s more impressive is the team of grassroots supporters like you who made this possible! [As you know, it costs a lot of money to run a winning presidential campaign, which is why you need to see exactly how your donation has and will be used:]( → TRAVELING: From day one, Nikki has prioritized meeting with voters, shaking every hand, and amplifying her message everywhere she can. In order to do that, Nikki and our team are flying all over the country, and we’re doing it while spending money wisely. Being a part of this team, I can tell you firsthand, we’re not out here lighting money on fire with private planes and extravagant luxury hotels like some campaigns. We’re flying a lot of Spirit and JetBlue. We’re getting Nikki to New Hampshire, Iowa, and wherever else she needs to go with the most affordable option we can find. Every time she holds a town hall in Iowa, South Carolina, or New Hampshire, it’s an opportunity for her to share her vision, answer questions, and gain the confidence of voters. But what you may not realize is that all of the costs can quickly add up to rent the event space, chairs, and sound equipment. In order to spend your money wisely, we’re holding these events at places like bakeries, local venues, and farms. On top of needing to gather signatures and find delegates for Nikki across the country, most states also have expensive filing fees to get on the ballot. Every state is different, so even just having staff to do the research on what needs to be done in each state, and then putting it into action requires a lot of time and resources. Thanks to the generosity of grassroots support, Nikki will be filing for the New Hampshire primary on FRIDAY. More states will follow after, and we can’t wait for everyone to have the opportunity to cast their vote for Nikki!
