Since 1946, the Foundation for Economic Education (FEE) has worked to stop socialism’s influence on the world. ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ Friend, Since 1946, the Foundation for Economic Education (FEE) has worked to stop socialism’s influence on the world. And while times have changed, our mission has not. In fact, we’ve learned to adapt and reach the next generation everywhere they get their information. Let me introduce myself. I am President Emeritus of FEE, Lawrence Reed. FEE is teaching Gen Z about free market economics, the horrors of communism, and individual liberty. And we’ve found at least 7 effective ways to stop socialism. [FEE is working to make the ideas of liberty compelling to the next generation. Please help us to raise $50,000 online to reach more young people with our message. Can you send a generous gift of $10, $35, $100, or any amount today?]( Here are the 7 ways FEE is stopping socialism with Gen Z. 1. FEE in the Classroom Our flagship program, FEE in the Classroom, makes the ideas of liberty familiar, credible, and compelling to students. It is a unique program held in brick-and-mortar and virtual classrooms across the country that teaches young Americans the principles of free markets, individual liberty, and limited government. Students learn how these core principles apply to their daily lives, communities, their futures, and the future of the country. FEE in the Classroom recently taught over 60,000 students! 2. YouTube shows Our YouTube videos introduce freedom as a life philosophy to the next generation. We created several popular shows, like Undoctrination, Common Sense Soapbox, Revolution of One, and many others, to deliver a steady stream of educational material for Gen Z. Our videos alone received over 23 MILLION views and over 1.8 MILLION shares. 3. Social media content Our pro-liberty, educational, social media content reaches over 1 million 16- to 24-year-olds each month. Here is the BIG problem with politics on social media… It’s almost ALL socialist propaganda. This is why it is CRITICAL you and I reach young people on social media with our message of liberty, free markets, and entrepreneurship. We gained nearly 70,000 followers across social media platforms. We reached over 2 MILLION young people in just seven months on TikTok! In 2022, FEE reached over 146 MILLION Gen Z online in total. FEE even broke the world record for the largest online economics lecture! [Click here to donate to FEE and support our efforts.]( 4. Revolution of One Through FEE’s Revolution of One initiative, we teach students that entrepreneurship and limited government can radically improve their lives and communities. At Revolution of One workshops, students engage with entrepreneurs, artists, and influencers who bring a rich background of expertise to the classroom while demonstrating that voluntary economic opportunity and fewer barriers to entry are the keys to prosperity. FEE Stories and online articles Our online articles provide information about topics that concern Gen Z and teach them how free market solutions, rather than socialism, can improve the world around us. In 2020, FEE.org was accessed over 25 million times by students of all ages seeking to learn more about the ideas of liberty during a year of a global pandemic. 6. Teacher Training FEE’s Learning Center provides teacher training on important economic subjects, free markets, individual liberty, and limited government. We work directly with state governments to provide this training as a partner organization. These highly trained educators are able to better teach our free market curriculum to schools. In 2022, FEE trained 2,568 teachers, which impacted over 256,800 students! 7. Books FEE started using books back in 1946 to combat the rise of socialism, and we still do so today. We produce great books and articles from F.A. Hayek, Ludwig von Mises, Milton Friedman, Leonard Read, and other pro-liberty authors. These are timeless lessons that all students should learn but rarely encounter in schools. If you and I want to teach young Americans about the values of free markets, liberty, and personal responsibility, we have to reach them where they get their information. Your support helps FEE reach more of the next generation with the ideas of freedom. As a personal favor, can you donate any amount today and help us reach our goal of $50,000 online?
