Friend, I've been in politics a LOOOONG time, and I've seen a lot of s&#$, pardon my French. But I've never – NEVER – seen a Republican Party as bananas as this one. Their number one priority is defending our criminal, Cheeto-colored, twice-impeached former president, Donald J. Trump. They worship the ground he walks on – which means while Democrats fight to move our country forward, Republicans are doing somersaults to defend whatever lies he's come up with. Right now, they’re even refusing to denounce his praise for Putin. Despicable. Just think of this: While Democrats passed critical infrastructure legislation, Republicans passed bills restricting the right to vote – and they've introduced over 440 voter suppression bills (!) in 2021 alone. While Democrats passed economic relief legislation, which cut the rate of childhood poverty in half, Republicans voted against any help for hardworking families. And while Democrats fought to find ACCOUNTABILITY for the tragic events of Ja‌n. 6, Republicans stuck their heads in the sand and even called the insurrection "legitimate political discourse!" I'll level with you, friend. We've got to do EVERYTHING WE CAN to make sure these bozos don't regain control of Washington in November. If you care, [help me do just that by pitching in $5 or more to our $15,000 fundraising goal today. Every dollar will go toward helping Democrats win the toughest races around the country:]( [Donate now >>]( Thanks. – Carville This email was sent to {EMAIL}.
