You see, grape seeds are rich in chemical compounds known as proanthocyanidins, which have powerful antioxidant properties. Research shows these compounds can alleviate oxidative stress, fight inflammation, and even help repair tissue damage. They’re also metabolic miracle makers. In a review published in the journal Obesity Facts, researchers noted grape seed extract’s potential as “an anti-obesity agent” due to its ability to improve lipid metabolism, reduce fat deposition, and improve insulin resistance.2 Grape seed extract is widely available as a supplement. I recommend taking 100 mg per day. - Take the “missing link” that controls cravings. This essential trace element helps the body metabolize lipids, proteins, and carbohydrates. In a study involving 42 overweight women, one group received a daily supply of chromium while the other took a placebo for eight weeks. After two months, researchers determined that the chromium group eliminated excessive eating habits and had fewer cravings than the placebo group.3 I recommend supplementing with 600 mcg per day. - Help increase activity with trimethylglycine.
