In a minute, I’m going to tell you about some of the natural libido boosters I recommend to my patients. But first, let’s take a look at the evidence that shows how healthy regular sex is for you. Here’s what the latest research revealed: - After following 6,800 men and women, researchers determined that those with active sex lives scored almost 25% higher on cognitive word tests than those with inactive sex lives.1 - Men who had sex at least twice a week were 50% less likely to develop heart disease than those who had sex once a month.2 Another 20-year study found those with an active sex life also have a lower risk of experiencing ischemic stroke.3 - And sexually active women have a lower risk of cardiovascular mortality. - A study published in the Journal of the American Medical Association, showed that men who have sex at least four times a week were 30% less likely to develop prostate cancer than men who had sex twice a week or less.4 - Regular sex can relieve migraine headaches, and ward off stress, depression, and other mental illnesses.5,6 - Having sex three times a month or more also increases your body’s immune response to viruses – including Covid. 7 Finally, for both men and women, having sex at least once a week decreased overall mortality by a very significant 44%.8 Here at the Sears Institute for Anti-Aging Medicine, I tell my patients that age is NOT an issue when it comes to sex. Contrary to what you might hear from health experts about “slowing down,” it’s natural to have sex well into your 70s and 80s.9 Sadly, living in our toxic world sometimes makes it difficult to achieve what used to come naturally. I see more and more patients struggling with sexual performance due to factors like poor circulation... an inflammatory, high-carb diet... medication side effects... stress... and estrogen overload. 2 natural sex boosters you can try tonight Like I said earlier, I wish I could write a prescription for sex and hand it to my patients! I can’t do that. But I can do the next best thing and recommend nutrients and therapies that naturally fuel your bedroom fire. - Try Viagra of the Amazon. Muira puama is an herbal extract that comes from the stems and roots of the Ptychopetalum olacoides plant. It’s widely used in the Amazon region of South America as a way to boost libido. Modern science shows it works… In a study published in The American Journal of Natural Medicine, 262 men complaining of lack of sexual desire or the inability to attain or maintain an erection were given muira puama.10 After two weeks, 62% of patients with loss of libido rated the treatment as having a “dynamic effect,” while 52% of patients with erectile dysfunction rated the treatment as “beneficial.” - Increase stamina with ubangala extract. Known as African Viagra, ubangala literally translates to “kiss and have sex.” It can boost blood flow to your penis to allow better erections. Researchers from the University of Pretoria studied an extract from this root. They found it is 75% as effective as Viagra for supporting male libido and sexual enhancement.11 A second study found that small doses of brewed ubangala tea resulted in hours-long erections within 60 minutes.12 Ubangala is also called Bangalala Eriosema. I recommend taking 25 mg per day. Simple secret to better sex at every age But there’s another often-overlooked reason for my patients’ lack of desire – one that every person on the planet is suffering from… Low oxygen levels. Oxygen is the power source that fuels your muscles, boosts your performance levels, and gives you instant results in the bedroom. This power source is about more than just getting it up when you’re in the mood. It gives you a combination of strength, desire, muscle mass, and readiness. It’s a feeling of extraordinary potential, available to you when you need it. But to get more oxygen, you need to “open up your pipes.” That means getting oxygen-rich blood to every part of your body at a moment’s notice. Tune in tomorrow and I’ll share my secret to improving my patients’ maximum oxygen flow at any age… To Your Good Health, Al Sears, MD, CNS --------------------------------------------------------------- References: - Wright H, Jenks R. “Sex on the brain!
