Royal Palm Beach, FL 33411 [] August 23, 2023 [] Reader, I read the results of a recently published report that confirms everything Iâve been telling my patients â and you â for more than 20 years. According to the survey, 24% of participants said they workout long enough each week to meet the government-recommended 150 minutes a week of exercise.1 This is a big increase from a few years earlier. However, the same survey found that 31% of participants are obese â a number that has increased by 40% in two decades.2 In other words... Obesity rates â and the chronic diseases that are associated with it â are skyrocketing...even as more Americans report getting more regular exercise. It doesnât make sense, does it? How could Americans be doing more exercise while getting in worse shape? Thereâs only one explanation⦠Modern Fitness Advice Has Failed You If youâve been following the advice of mainstream doctors, youâve probably logged more than a few miles â and countless hours â on the treadmill. I applaud your effort to be healthy. I know youâve put in a lot of hard work. But I have to tell you the truth⦠They wasted your time because the modern approach to âexerciseâ is completely wrong. In the 1960s, the medical establishment began promoting a new type of workout that emphasized long duration over intensity. Not to mention saying nothing about progressivity. More on this in a moment... Cardio routines like jogging and aerobics encourage you to exercise for extended periods of time at a low-intensity levels. Fitness âexpertsâ will tell you that these workouts will get you into your âfat-melting zone.â The trouble is, you donât want to be in the fat-melting zone. Every time you enter that zone, you are programming your body to use fat for fuel. And youâre sending a signal that you need fat. By the time you finish a long cardio workout, your body gets busy storing fat for the next workout. I donât think I need to tell you how much fatter our country has gotten since these recommendations were put into place. Itâs not even comparable. Now, there are many contributing factors to the obesity epidemic. The modern change to our native diet is a huge one. But itâs clear that fitness fads like cardio and aerobics are a huge contributing factor. To solve this problem, you need to⦠Rebuild Your Native Fitness with PACE Your ancient ancestors didnât exercise. At least not in the way we understand today. As a regular reader, you know that working out every day for 45 minutes is unnatural. Humans were simply not designed to endure that kind of prolonged exertion⦠After all, for most of our existence, âexerciseâ was all about hunting for food. Our primal ancestors had to be able to accelerate to 100% of their energy capacity â FAST. Otherwise, they might become someone elseâs dinner. They had to do the same thing to chase down their own food. It was a tough life. But we were built for those kinds of challenges. And we still are. Your ancestors stayed lean, strong, and fit by doing quick, intense movements followed by periods of rest. This is the foundation my PACE program is built on. Reprogram Your Body To Flush Fat The heart and soul of PACE is progressivity. Itâs what the P stands for. And itâs what makes PACE different from every other exercise program out there. With PACE, you drop the weakest workout every week and add a new, tougher one. Week by week, you progressively increase the intensity of your workout. Hereâs why thatâs important: Doing the same routine over and over â especially with cardio â will lead to some minor gains at first. But then your progress will plateau or stall. Your body needs new challenges to adapt and grow. These progressive changes will allow your body to continue to make adaptive responses, today and years into the future. Since Iâve published PACE â The 12-Minute Fitness Revolution, Iâve seen it change thousands of lives. But I knew it the message wasnât getting through to enough people, which is why⦠PACE Is Now Available On Audiobook Iâve noticed a new trend at my book club... No one actually reads anymore. While I show up with an actual book, everyone else brings their tablet or smartphone. I guess that makes me a bit of a dinosaur. But I believe the information about PACE is too important to ignore. Thatâs why I turned my best-selling book into an audiobook. This way, you can listen wherever and whenever you want...at your convenience. I know that PACE, The 12-Minute Fitness Revolution changes lives. When you order this book, youâll learn how you can stop storing fat and instead: - Drop pounds and flush fat, even during rest
- Increase your energy
- Build lean muscle mass
- Increase the power of your lungs
