Shadow Knitting) is knit flat with two continuous strands of yarn carried up at the end of each even row. Remember to always make sure your strands are in the same position every time you change color, ex: if you are crossing your stands every switch make sure they are crossed the same way every time and if you are not crossing your strands every color change then make sure they are not crossed before knitting the first stitch. I did not cross my yarn before changing colors. For the sizes I've stated you just knit two extra stitches for the first row to start the pattern to go up a size, making it 3 inches wider. If you would like an in between size you can just start with one extra stitch instead of two, just remember that each stitch makes this hat 1 1/2” wider at the base. ex- to start with 25 stitches gives you a 24” hat, to start with 26 stitches gives you a 22 1/2” hat, to start with 27 stitches gives you a 21” hat etc. - [Double Stripes Illusion Knitting Hat Pattern](2FM0EzgnXWPgtAUPbJ4MkkJPYi9T%2F8cf6%2BcD7p8%3D) - [Ribbed Hat Pattern For Men And Women](2FM0EzgnXWPgtAUPbJ4MkkJPYi9T%2F8cf6%2BcD7p8%3D) - [Jelly Bubbles Hat](2FM0EzgnXWPgtAUPbJ4MkkJPYi9T%2F8cf6%2BcD7p8%3D) - [Knitting Cap For Men & Women](2FM0EzgnXWPgtAUPbJ4MkkJPYi9T%2F8cf6%2BcD7p8%3D) - [Two Needles Classic Beret](2FM0EzgnXWPgtAUPbJ4MkkJPYi9T%2F8cf6%2BcD7p8%3D) - [Turban Hat For Beginners](2FM0EzgnXWPgtAUPbJ4MkkJPYi9T%2F8cf6%2BcD7p8%3D) - [Log Cabin Cardigan](2FM0EzgnXWPgtAUPbJ4MkkJPYi9T%2F8cf6%2BcD7p8%3D) - [Unisex Winter Hat](2FM0EzgnXWPgtAUPbJ4MkkJPYi9T%2F8cf6%2BcD7p8%3D) - [Vertical Stripe Toque, Touque, Or Beanie Hat](2FM0EzgnXWPgtAUPbJ4MkkJPYi9T%2F8cf6%2BcD7p8%3D) - [Plaid Knitted Slouchy Beanie](2FM0EzgnXWPgtAUPbJ4MkkJPYi9T%2F8cf6%2BcD7p8%3D) [14 One Skein Shawls](2FM0EzgnXWPgtAUPbJ4MkkJPYi9T%2F8cf6%2BcD7p8%3D) [14 One Skein Shawls](2FM0EzgnXWPgtAUPbJ4MkkJPYi9T%2F8cf6%2BcD7p8%3D)  2FM0EzgnXWPgtAUPbJ4MkkJPYi9T%2F8cf6%2BcD7p8%3D 2FM0EzgnXWPgtAUPbJ4MkkJPYi9T%2F8cf6%2BcD7p8%3D 2FM0EzgnXWPgtAUPbJ4MkkJPYi9T%2F8cf6%2BcD7p8%3D  [37 Quick and Easy Knitting Patterns](2FM0EzgnXWPgtAUPbJ4MkkJPYi9T%2F8cf6%2BcD7p8%3D) [37 Quick & Easy Patterns](2FM0EzgnXWPgtAUPbJ4MkkJPYi9T%2F8cf6%2BcD7p8%3D)  [15 Printable Free Coloring Pages for Adults](2FM0EzgnXWPgtAUPbJ4MkkJPYi9T%2F8cf6%2BcD7p8%3D)  Find More On AllFreeKnitting [Knit Blankets](2FM0EzgnXWPgtAUPbJ4MkkJPYi9T%2F8cf6%2BcD7p8%3D) [Infinity Scarves](2FM0EzgnXWPgtAUPbJ4MkkJPYi9T%2F8cf6%2BcD7p8%3D) [Knit Hats](2FM0EzgnXWPgtAUPbJ4MkkJPYi9T%2F8cf6%2BcD7p8%3D) [Knit Shawls](2FM0EzgnXWPgtAUPbJ4MkkJPYi9T%2F8cf6%2BcD7p8%3D) [Fair Isle Patterns](2FM0EzgnXWPgtAUPbJ4MkkJPYi9T%2F8cf6%2BcD7p8%3D) [Knit Cardigans](2FM0EzgnXWPgtAUPbJ4MkkJPYi9T%2F8cf6%2BcD7p8%3D) [Knit Gifts](2FM0EzgnXWPgtAUPbJ4MkkJPYi9T%2F8cf6%2BcD7p8%3D) [Knit Scarves](2FM0EzgnXWPgtAUPbJ4MkkJPYi9T%2F8cf6%2BcD7p8%3D) [Knit Sweaters](2FM0EzgnXWPgtAUPbJ4MkkJPYi9T%2F8cf6%2BcD7p8%3D) [Knit Ponchos](2FM0EzgnXWPgtAUPbJ4MkkJPYi9T%2F8cf6%2BcD7p8%3D) [One Skein Knits](2FM0EzgnXWPgtAUPbJ4MkkJPYi9T%2F8cf6%2BcD7p8%3D) [Stashbusters](2FM0EzgnXWPgtAUPbJ4MkkJPYi9T%2F8cf6%2BcD7p8%3D) [Baby Patterns](2FM0EzgnXWPgtAUPbJ4MkkJPYi9T%2F8cf6%2BcD7p8%3D) [Beginner Knits](2FM0EzgnXWPgtAUPbJ4MkkJPYi9T%2F8cf6%2BcD7p8%3D)  Most Recent Articles! [Easy Bulky Knit Winter Hat](2FM0EzgnXWPgtAUPbJ4MkkJPYi9T%2F8cf6%2BcD7p8%3D) Easy Bulky Knit Winter Hat This is an easy beanie made with bulky yarn – and it’s knit on straight needles so it’s beginner friendly! I’ve designed a hat with bulky/chunky weight yarn (category 5) that knits up quickly and makes a great gift! This hat is knit flat on straight needles. It is worked in a multiple of 6 with 2 selvedge stitches, one on each side. These two stitches are always worked in Stockinette stitch to allow you to easily seam using the mattress stitch. It really makes for a neat seam! The brim is a k2p2 rib that keeps these 2 selvedge stitches even and results in a nice k2 where the seam meets. Yarn: Miss Bab’s K2 in Teal, 1 8-oz skein (Bulky #5) Needles: US Size 8 (5.00mm) and 10 (6.00mm) straight needles Notions: Yarn needle, scissors - [Easy Bulky Knit Winter Hat](2FM0EzgnXWPgtAUPbJ4MkkJPYi9T%2F8cf6%2BcD7p8%3D) - [Oat Stitch Knit Face Scrubby](2FM0EzgnXWPgtAUPbJ4MkkJPYi9T%2F8cf6%2BcD7p8%3D) - [Fun And Easy Monster Purse](2FM0EzgnXWPgtAUPbJ4MkkJPYi9T%2F8cf6%2BcD7p8%3D) - [Spooky Buddies Halloween Hat](2FM0EzgnXWPgtAUPbJ4MkkJPYi9T%2F8cf6%2BcD7p8%3D) - [Easy Knit Easter Egg](2FM0EzgnXWPgtAUPbJ4MkkJPYi9T%2F8cf6%2BcD7p8%3D) - [Knit A Simple Dishcloth](2FM0EzgnXWPgtAUPbJ4MkkJPYi9T%2F8cf6%2BcD7p8%3D) - [Winding Ways Shawl](2FM0EzgnXWPgtAUPbJ4MkkJPYi9T%2F8cf6%2BcD7p8%3D) - [Knit Pumpkins](2FM0EzgnXWPgtAUPbJ4MkkJPYi9T%2F8cf6%2BcD7p8%3D) - [One Row Headband](2FM0EzgnXWPgtAUPbJ4MkkJPYi9T%2F8cf6%2BcD7p8%3D) - [Finger Knitted Yarn Pumpkin](2FM0EzgnXWPgtAUPbJ4MkkJPYi9T%2F8cf6%2BcD7p8%3D)  This email was requested by: {EMAIL} Unsubscribe from this newsletter: [Click here](.
