Shadow Knitting) is knit flat with two continuous strands of yarn carried up at the end of each even row. Remember to always make sure your strands are in the same position every time you change color, ex: if you are crossing your stands every switch make sure they are crossed the same way every time and if you are not crossing your strands every color change then make sure they are not crossed before knitting the first stitch. I did not cross my yarn before changing colors. For the sizes I've stated you just knit two extra stitches for the first row to start the pattern to go up a size, making it 3 inches wider.
