Throat phlegm, raspy cough, COVID again?!

[Hooked on Crochet from AllFreeCrochet.com Special Offers]  constantly clearing your throat?  I used to love my job. Interesting work, great co-workers. My workplace has been my home away from home for 20+ years.  But that all changed when I developed a dry raspy cough.    I’ll never forget how my coworkers looked at me when I coughed. Fearful. Maybe even a little disgusted. They started avoiding me like the plague. Then it hit me. They think I’m infected with COVID-19 again! I wasn’t, of course. My husband forced me to see a doctor about my cough. I didn’t have the new variant of COVID or any other type of contagious infection. But that didn’t stop my boss from putting me in a workspace all by myself. My presence, he said, was disruptive. Translation? They were terrified of me! I wasn’t allowed to approach any of my coworkers. And they definitely stayed away from me. I was miserable being all by myself all the time. If this continued, I knew I might have to find another job. But employment elsewhere would likely be more of the same as long as I had this stubborn cough. What could I do?
