Adventurer, Happy New Year! 2021 was a momentous year for Albion Online, with two massive content updates, a mobile launch, rocketing player numbers, a rework to Guild Warfare, and much more. To mark the end of the year, we took a look back at some of these developments in our [End-of-Year Wrapup](. With the continued engagement of the player community, 2021 was the most exciting year yet for Albion Online, and we can’t wait to continue this journey. Stay tuned for a new Dev Talk soon where we’ll be introducing some of our big plans for 2022, as Albion keeps on growing. Year-end Awards With all the work that went into expanding and enriching the world of Albion Online in 2021, we were delighted to be recognized with three awards at the end of the year. First was the Deutscher Entwicklerpreis for “Best Mobile Game”. Next came the MassivelyOP award for “Best PvP”, and most recently GamingonPhone named Albion Online their “Best Mobile Port” for 2021. With the mobile launch and the PvP experience two of our main focuses in the past year, to receive these prizes was a great honor. We wouldn’t have been able to achieve any of this without you, the players, who make the world of Albion so exciting. So thanks to you, and let’s see what we can accomplish together in the year ahead! The Frost Challenge is Back And what better way to kick off the year than by joining in the Frost Challenge and claiming your very own Frost Ram? This swift, sturdy mount has an impressive leap spell and is able to carry plenty of weight, making it the perfect gathering companion in Albion’s cold winter. Until the end of January you can earn Challenge Points for open-world activities, allowing you to unlock the Frost Ram, valuable loot, wintry furniture items and vanity skins. So log in now and claim your rewards!
