Sunshine and warm conditions can be expected [in today's forecast](. We will see an increase in clouds as Tropical Storm Cindy moves west and northwest toward the Texas coastline. Cindy shut down unloading from a major oil terminal Tuesday, [prompted some evacuations from rigs and platforms]( in the Gulf of Mexico and put states from along the Gulf on notice for flooding rains. Although most computer models keep the heart of Cindy east of North Texas for its track through Texas, some models do bring it close enough to bring some scattered showers and storms as far west as D-FW. Based on its current track, the heaviest rain from the storm [is expected to stay well east of Dallas-Fort Worth](, closer to Toledo Bend, along the Sabine River, and Shreveport, said meteorologist Jason Godwin of the National Weather Service.
