The law was passed earlier this year by the Republican-controlled Legislature and signed by Gov. Greg Abbott. The shootings occurred about 7:15 p.m. at the Nissan of Greenville along Interstate 30 near Joe Ramsey Boulevard. Officers responding to calls about the gunshots found the three men dead, city officials said in a written statement.
