John Wiley Price breaks silence: 'I'm going to have to testify'Â
Dallas County's [longest serving commissioner gave his only interview]( since his corruption trial began.Â
"I think I'm going to have to testify," Price said, adding, though, that he'll follow whatever advice his lawyers give him.Â
Bribery, bid-fixing, influence peddling — the charges are serious, and witnesses are working five days a week to make the government's case.Â
But Price, never lacking in confidence in a 32-year political career, is sure he can convince the jury the whole thing is a misunderstanding.

The idea is to turn that stretch of Ross into a walkable retail destination. As part of the redevelopment, the 50-story Trammell Crow Center tower will undergo $135 million in renovations. The 1980s skyscraper will get ground-floor retail and outdoor plaza areas where tenants and visitors can eat and lounge about.

The Tony Romo saga so far: How we got hereÂ
Three weeks ago today, [our David Moore wrote that a quick resolution to Tony Romo's future looked unlikely](. That prediction has proved true, as there has been no movement since then. So far, a trade partner has not emerged. And the Cowboys' stance hasn't changed: If they can't trade the veteran quarterback, he will be released.
Bottom line: Tony Romo won't be playing for the Cowboys in 2017. So how did we get to this point in what is now the football equivalent of a hostage crisis? [SportsDay has a comprehensive timeline](.

El Paso Rep. Beto O'Rourke,[Â a relative newcomer on the Texas political scene](, launched his longshot campaign Friday in hopes of becoming the first Texas Democrat elected to the Senate in three decades.
"I'm under no illusions this will be anything but hard in a primary and anything but hard in a general election," O'Rourke said. "Nothing I've ever done that's amounted to anything has been easy."
O'Rourke has a surprising background for a politician, having been a guitarist in an El Paso punk band and later working on technology startups in New York.
