A former Birdville ISD student told the court that the district's practice violated the Constitution by pressuring students and others to participate. However, a three-judge panel from the 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals found that the district's "polite requests" did not coerce prayer. Finally, A Muppet with autism [will soon make her TV debut on Sesame Street](. The character will be introduced to TV audiences in the "Meet Julia" episode airing April 10 on both PBS and HBO.
