Not if neighbors have their way Plans for a new Fuel City in Cedar Hill have hit a speed bump. Bolstered by a stream of uneasy neighbors, the city's planning and zoning commission voted against a Fuel City at U.S. Highway 67 and Joe Wilson Road, 4-3, after two hours of debate last month. Leaders of the company — known for its unique blend of gas sales, roaming livestock, car washes and tacos — plan to appeal the decision this month. Fuel City started at a downtown Dallas location that became well-known for its tacos. In recent years, the company expanded with relative ease to Mesquite and Haltom City.
