Bamcap Partners provided more than $48 million in loans for the development starting in 2015.
The lender is seeking a forced sale of the property on the Dallas North Tollway to repay the debt, according to legal filings with Collin County. The foreclosure filing is just the latest stumble for the ambitious mixed-use project, which is part of Frisco's much touted $5-billion mile.
Wade Park was planned as one of the largest and most expensive developments in the Dallas area.

DISD buying Dallas County Schools building, moves trustee meetings back south
Dallas ISD [will buy the $6 million administrative building]( of the embattled bus-service agency that voters decided to shut down.
On Monday, the committee overseeing the dissolution of Dallas County Schools approved selling the building to DISD. The legislation that triggered the election on DCSâ fate gave the school district the first right of refusal to buy the building at fair market value.
DISD superintendent Michael Hinojosa expects the district to officially take possession of the building in mid-Spring. Last week, the DISD board of trustees had its first meeting at the facility and is expected to continue meeting there.
The district had consolidated many of its offices at the new headquarters off Central Expressway, but some were worried that the location was too far north and not accessible to all residents.

Choreographer Michelle N. Gibson leads Dallas Black Theatre dancers through a rehearsal of 'Displaced, Yet Rebirthed,' which will premiere Feb. 16. Jae S. Lee/Staff Photographer)
Finally...
Michelle N. Gibson starts rolling as soon as the recorder does. A choreographer and New Orleans native, she doesnât cede the floor for more than 15 minutes. By then, sheâs answered half the questions on the list without hearing them. Itâs not surprising to learn that sheâs a preacherâs daughter.
She talks about fleeing her hometown on the eve of Hurricane Katrinaâs devastating landing, about losing almost everything and about relocating to Dallas and thriving âbecause you have grown up in a place where the soil is so rich.â
Gibsonâs latest triumph is [a commission from Dallas Black Dance Theatre to create a piece about the effects and aftermath of the storm,Â]([Displaced, Yet Rebirthed]([.]( Premiering Feb. 16, it peaks with a second-line  jam by the local New Orleans style Kickin' Brass Band.
âWhen Katrina hit, it shifted a lot of New Orleans black culture out of the city,â she says. âThey went to places where the education system was better, where the jobs were a little bit better. If I didnât have children and was a solo artist, I wouldâve returned home, honey. I wouldâve hustled the game like everyone else. But I was not going to take my children to uncertainty. Even after 12 years, I catch myself. âWhere am I?â I came to a place I never dreamed of living. It wasnât on the bucket list.â
